Karan Johar’s dream project ‘Shuddhi’ hit a roadblock, when the main lead actor Hrithik Roshan opted out citing health reasons. Various theories were being discussed after Hrithik’s departure from the project, from health issues to the recent divorce of the Roshan couple. Recently there was a report that Hrithik has opted out of the project, as he was not getting a higher percentage of profits. This news shocked one and all.
Filmmaker Karan Johar has come out with the real truth, denying the allegations against the actor saying that the story is “baseless, untrue and completely uninformed”.

Shuddhi’ seems to be a jinxed project as after Hrithik and Kareena opted out, Karan had approached Deeepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh but they too opted out and switched to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’. So will Karan be able to release ‘Shuddhi’ by Christmas is the big question in everyone’s mind.
