Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor celebrates her 40th birthday today. The soft spoken, charming girl is affectionately called ‘Lolo’ by her family. Karisma Kapoor was born on the 25th of June 1974 in the prestigious Kapoor family. She is daughter of Raj Kapoor’s eldest son Randhir Kapoor and veteran actress Babita.
Karisma Kapoor’s life has not been a bed of roses. She is the first girl from Kapoor khandaan to have worked in Bollywood. Karisma, left movies at the peak of her career and married businessman Sanjay Kapur of Delhi, but the fairy tale marriage ended in a divorce. At present the mother of two, is now back with a bang in the business.
Last year The actress ushered in her birthday with younger sister Kareena Kapoor in London. However, this time she plans to spend time away from family with her rumoured beau Sandeep Toshniwal.
Karisma Kapoor has had a tough year. From dealing with marital problems to her comeback film ‘Dangerous Ishhq’ flopping miserably. But her family has been always standing by her no matter what and helping her deal with all kinds of obstacles.
