Seven films to release on September 19

It’s going to rain movies on September 19. There will be not one or two films released but a total seven movies. When Yash raj Films postponed their Aditya Roy Kapur- and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Daawat-e-Ishq by two weeks, to September 19. This news shocked all in Bolywood One project. The reason being that seven films will be competing at box-office on September 19.

We have 1) Daawat-E- Ishq plus six other films 2) Khoobsurat, starring Sonam Kapoor; Anurag Kashyap’s
3) Ugly 4) Tamanchey, starring Richa Chaddha 5) Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, starring Neha Dhupia and Anupam Kher; Balwinder Singh…6) Famous Ho Gaya, starring Shaan and Mika; and 7) Roar, directed by Kamal Sadanah.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh said “It’s ridiculous. Forget getting business, how would you find screens and shows? Yash Raj is in a commanding position. So is Disney with Khoobsurat. I don’t understand how and why? It’s not a festive date, nor is it a holiday or a long weekend. It’s come as a bit of a shock.”
