Sonakshi Sinha does a ‘Bhangra’ on ramp

Bollywood’s khamosh girl Sonakshi Sinha recently broke into a jig on the ramp. Sonakshi was walking the ramp as a showstopper for designer Tarun Tahiliani. The Dabangg girl could not stop herself from grooving while walking the ramp to a catchy tune. She did not walk like an usual ramp model and enthralled the audience.

As per sources, “Sonakshi entered the runway to no music and as there were live folk percussionists on stage she made them start playing while she broke into some bhangra moves. She then convinced the prim and proper south Mumbai crowd to clap and do the bhangra with her. Later, when the models took their final position on ramp, looking all stiff and serious, Sonakshi went and physically shook them to make them join the dance. Designer Tarun Tahiliani was thrilled. This was his first interaction with Sonakshi and he didn’t know what to expect. But he was amazed at how she took over the entire show with her infectious energy.”
Dressed in Tarun Tahiliani creatio a multicolored sequined floral bridal wear. The floral suit consisting of deep neckline, glowed up Sonakshi’s face due to the neon colour on it. Completing her look was her maang tikaa. She later posed with her mother. There were many other Bollywood celebrities like Sridevi who was dressed in formal white shirt and cream trousers with strappy heels. Mini Mathur looked pretty in a green and pink sari with a printed Masaba crop-top. Actor Kunal Kapoor attended the fashion show in black formals along with his fiancé, Naina who wore a sequined dress.
