Akshay Kumar:Playing alcoholic in ‘The Shaukeens’ was different

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is playing the role of an alcoholic actor in his upcoming production venture The Shaukeens. Akki has an cameo in it. The actor who is a teetotaler in real life says he found it very different to play an alcoholic in the comedy drama.

As per sources, Akshay Kumar said that, “I am playing an alcoholic in the film. It was a very different shade to pull off. In the film, I am playing an angry man too. So, these are various shades which have been put in my character and I am not really of that kind in real life.”
Akshay further added,“I never face any problem when shooting with Anupam Kher. There is always a positive environment when he is on the sets. We did many films together. I did my first film with him. In the middle there was no association between him and me. But now we are again doing many films together. I really enjoy working with him. We do loads of fun when we work together.”
The Shaukeens is a remake of the hit classic of the same name and has Lisa Haydon , Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor too.
