Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s has started the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Fitoor’. The first schedule of the movie was held over the weekend in Kashmir. Aditya Roy Kapur had his birthday on the first day that Abhishek found to be auspicious. ‘Fitoor’ is an adaptation of the very famous book ‘The Great Expectation’.
As per sources, due to the floods in Kashmir the team had initially decided to change the venue. Fortunately things turned out to be well and they continued with their plans to shoot there. Abhishek said, Kashmir is integral part of ‘Fitoor’. “The breathtaking beauty of the Valley will help bring out the nuances in the story as it intertwines with the plot to form the perfect backdrop.”
The first schedule of the film will kickstart with Aditya Roy Kapur who will soon be joined by Rekha and Katrina Kaif. The film will be shot in Dal Lake and Pahalgam area of Kashmir. Check out Aditya Roy Kapur’s look in the movie he plays the role of an artist Noor. ‘Fitoor’ explores the life of Noor, and his muse Firdaus and how their lives are affected by the Begum played by Rekha. Kashmir is intertwined with the plot of Fitoor which is a story of love lost and realized over the course of two generations.
Produced by UTV, ‘Fitoor’ also has cameos by Aditi Rao Hydari and Ajay Devgn. The movie is slated to release in 2015.
