Yash Raj Films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was one of the biggest blockbusters when it released. The movie continues to be a favourite among audiences. DDLJ made Shahrukh Khan as Raj and Kajol as Simran the quintessential couple a house hold name. DDLj is all set to complete its 1000 week run at the Maratha Mandir theatre, where it has been playing since 1995, that too tax free.
As per sources, Kajol was supposed to shoot a promotional video for the event, but a leg injury forced the actress to back out. “She was at home when she sprained her leg and had to get a plaster. She has been advised rest for two weeks. She was to shoot for the ‘DDLJ’ promotional video and give interviews for the same.”
The entire star cast including Kajol will be present at Maratha Mandir on 12th December when the film completes its 1000th week run there.
